Anything I write featuring Sombra (outside of All That Lingers and Song of Myself) to date has Sombra as trans, it is just a long hatching process there.
I have other trans stories about characters that aren't Sombra in varying states of progress.
Multiple stories linked here are kinda going through the revision process, some already have been through it.
I'm not familiar with that story, but I find that if I change the pursuing character in the relationship, it helps a lot with telling the story. If it is more conventional for (in this case) the female character to pursue the male, swap it. And vice versa.
