Can a basement dweller human in Equestria story be written well?
Can such a human (while not evil, just lazy) find redemption and become something useful to society (not a jobless bum etc) rather than sit on the couch all day playing video games or watching movies? Or writing my little pony fan fiction... like me.
For a brief moment of time, I was not a basement dweller. I found a job finally. But then the coronavirus came and I had to leave. I finally was going to be useful, but fate stepped in. XD
Basement? I'm on like the ninth floor! (Eighth floor under the British system, which my Canadian apartment building decided to use so that it would only go to 12)
That could be funny...as long as it's not Flittershy, because she's such a meek character, the person would take advantage of her kindness until she finally lost her temper and lawn darted him/her outa her front door. It might be hilarious to see her catch on early and give the human the same treatment she gave Zephyr Breeze.

Perhaps xD I'm pretty much like this, 'cept I'm looking for a job, I just can't yet until we have a good schedule planned, as I have to babysit my cousin, my sister, a dog, and a puppy, and hopefully soon, a kitten!

He hits rock bottom. Becomes homeless, and begs on the street. Celestia finds him, take pity on him takes him in, and he becomes a basement dweller again. And he learns nothing. XD

I hate lazy people. I mean that's a bit much coming for me but usually i would just look at myself in the mirror to get myself going. Because i hate the idea of being lazy
I think Your Getting Better was doing it okay, but I think that's dead now. AS for the concept, I'm sure. Just having the main character get over being lazy because the mane 6 just pitch in to be their life coaches to kinda unsatisfying.
