Hey, so I know everyone's anxiously waiting for story updates right now.
Sapphire Scales left off with seven chapters advance paid and on the cusp of crossing with Episode 1 of the show...
Multiverse has built up to a final confrontation with Salem bringing in friends from past arcs for backup...
Trust me, I KNOW these are awful places to stop and I think about these stories every day. The big problem is... my job. I managed to get a part-time job almost 2 months ago, and not only have we recently had to go through a store-wide audit that everyone worked overtime to prepare for, one of the assistant managers quit right after for a better job! And as the only non-manager employee who isn't in high school... I've pretty much been forced into a promotion. That means better pay, possibly benefits, and lots of other good things!
...but it also means my work/life balance has been thrown all out of whack.
I PROMISE I'm not forgetting about these stories!!! I'm not being lazy or out of ideas!! I'm just... being forced to restructure how I handle my time at the moment.
Multiverse might update sporadically since it's my stress-relief project, but Sapphire Scales is a project I want to be able to take my time on to make sure I do it properly, so progress with that one is probably gonna be slow for a while until I figure out how to deal with suddenly having a LOT less free time. Generally my method of writing is to sit down and hammer out an entire chapter at a time, which can take anywhere from 6 to 10 hours, but I don't have many days where that kind of time commitment is possible any more.
Updates ARE coming, I haven't forgotten anything or anyone! I've just been forced to put other things first.
In more minor news, an in-character channel has been added to The Adventurer's Guild Discord Server! Missy, Noir, and Isis from The Multiverse in a Nutshell are all available to talk to, with more characters to come! Check it out if you have the time!

As somebody who sometimes has a *year* between chapter updates, I understand.
It's ok to be lazy.... /J
On the plus side, you got a promotion!
Seriously though, don't worry about it. We're all happy to wait for as long as you need. 
Take your time, I'll be looking forward to seeing Sapphire Scales get updated. It's been an instant fave of mine.
