For those who haven't heard, there was a mass shooting in Indianapolis at the FedEx building by someone who WILL NOT be named. It turns out that he is one of us, a Brony. The news media has been trying to paint us as enemies of FREEDOM and LIFE since the beginnings of the pandemic last year by making us the next KKK.
I want to say that I do not support the hate from the far right AND the far left. We are fans of a world that is built on the foundations of FRIENDSHIP AND HARMONY. This hate and divide are what they want for us to react to that will fuel DARKNESS and HATE fires. We were taught all those years ago when we first watched and gave MLP A CHANCE to prove us wrong. For the last ten years, we were taught the Elements of Harmony as it was drilled into us episode after episode, season after season, year after year, that FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC AND THERE MUST BE A BALANCE OF PEACE, HARMONY AND LOVE in this world.
I write this on the day after I found out about this and was terrified and scared that we Bronies will be hunted down into nothing and the world that we love the most will be gone forever. But something gave way to that fear—the strength to say no to the news media like FOX NEWS and more news stations like it.
I am, of course, not saying to protest and fight them on the streets until they are gone. We are a fandom of peace-loving, song singing, friendship-making, rainbow-coloured, baby-girl-horse-toys. We may confuse the world outside of pop culture and fandoms as a whole. But we are Bronies. We spread love and friendship, not hate.
I have been Regis Stella and remember to LIVE LONG AND SPREAD LOVE AND PEACE IN THIS WORLD AND THE NEXT!
Unfortunately, we are also a rather left-wing famdom (at least the vocal portion), and this kind of thing is kind of the modus operandi at the moment. You probably arent going to find more than tacit support, my friend. Welcome to the White Supremacy, where 99% of us aren't supremacists and a lot of them aren't even white.
To be honest, it was only a matter of time until the bronies got threatened with cancellation again.
