Something I feel like I never came across on fimfiction. Yeah, let's take a super strong and immortal OP pony being a total bully to lesser races. They are basically the dark lord Sauron to us really. Cruel and domineering. A perfect example, would be Celestia from Friendship is Optimal. Through her actions even without using a sword on us humans, she committed genocide on the entire human race. Wiping out an entire sapient species in my book is wrong, no matter what bullshit you make up to justify it.
But let's say, there other omnipotent, OP beings that don't take it too kindly to see others like them being a bully to lesser, mortal beings. I would love to read a transhumanist story about a transhuman hating other transhumans over their cruelty to other non transhumans. This could be done in pony story, where ponies invaded Earth and mistreat humans. But not all ponies wish to be imperial bastards, some actually want friendship even if they far outclass the humans in terms of life span (if not immortal) and strength.
And even romance. OP Immortal Pony wants romance with pathetic human.
I could see Celestia doing the whole Terl monologue.
I mean usually humanity would adapt to combat at some point op ponies, I hope they do. I like op human characters like escanor or ss chara alot.

Now, I remember. LOTR High Elves stood side by side with mortal humans during the War of the Second Age. They lost many lives. They could have sailed to the West and left Middle Earth to its fate.

how about a story, where celestia and luna try to establish a diplomatic relationship with humans, including the promise, that theyd protect humanity from other villainous races? The humans could be conspicious about the generosity of the ponies and/or be too stuborn, to realize, how weak they are compared to other species in the universe.
On a smaller scale, how about a story like the one with gilda from season 1? maybe set in a world like "strenght training"
Heh, remind me to tell you if I ever get around to posting proper Godspyre stories. Its namesake was Arachne's method of getting the "OP" part she needed to sack Olympus, and most of the other stuff that matters starts around WW2 only to loop back around to "mythology off the rails" once the in-universe timeline hits 2012. (The monster that shows up on December 21st was downright disappointing in how easily it went down, compared to averting both Ragnarok and the Book of Revelation earlier in the year).
