Okay, I decided to post this blog to give you all updates in regards to my current story, Equestria Girls: Sonic the Hedgehog. Don't worry, I'm still working on it and I fully intended on finishing this volume and this story. I can assure you. However, I get constant questions in regards to my story both from the comments of my story/blogs and my PM. So I'm going to address and answer those commonly questions here:
"When's the next chapter/volume coming out?"
Let's get this most common question out of the way: There is no release date for this new chapter at this time. It's not coming out this Saturday, or the next, or any Saturdays for the time being. The next volume of my story will be ready when it's ready! Period.
I don't mean to sound rude and I know how much everyone liked my story and is eager for the next chapter, which I appreciate. But asking me when the new chapter is coming out every day isn't going to come out faster. When the next volume is close to complete, I will post the release date here on my blog as I did with my other story updates. And only then you'll know when the next volume is coming out. All I ask is to please be patient a little while longer.
"Why are you taking so long?"
It was because of two reasons:
1. I'm taking my time to put a lot of effort into my chapter, then have my proofreader look over them, then I fix and edited any grammar mistakes, and finally move on to the next chapter. Lather, rinse and repeat.
2. Life. It's as simple as that.
"Will you please show me a preview for the next chapter?"
I may post some snippets of certain chapters every now and then on my update blogs as I did previously, but that's it. And no, please don't ask me when I post those either.
"How many total chapters/words for volume two?"
I can't answer that... at this time, because the total number changes every time. I won't say which ones, but I already split a few chapters into two because I made them longer than I intended. So all I can say is, volume two is going to be much longer than volume one.
"Will we see other Sonic characters in this story?"
For the most part, the only Sonic characters you'll see in this story are Sonic and Dr. Robotnik... that's it.
"Will we see other MLP/EqG characters like the Dazzlings, Octavia, Vinyl Scratch/DJ Pon-3, or Derpy?"
...we'll see.
Anyway, that's all the common questions taken care of. For any news and updates regarding my story, just follow me and I'll post my story progress on my future blogs. If you have any other questions you want to ask me in regards to EqG:StH (except for "when's the next chapter"), you can send me a PM.
Again, I'm sorry if I came across as rude, I just don't like being rushed when I write my story.

Truer words have never been spoken. I always respect the time and patience you put into this story. Learned my lesson last year. So continue writing at your own pace. We'll wait a little longer. No rush or pressure.

You didn't come off as rude to me, you're just taking a stand and letting people know how things are and will be.
Take all the time you need, and I've become a little bit more inspired to let people know how things are.

We can't rush art indeed. But... I can predict when it is done by looking at the upload date of each of the chapters in the story already. It took around 3 months to finish volume one, so I estimate that it might take 2-3 months or longer. But... that's just theory.

It actually took me many months the first time around. In fact, I started writing volume one when Sonic the Hedgehog was still in theaters for the first two weeks at the time. The dates when I posted those chapters for volume one was already written and ready at that point.
Hopefully, volume two wouldn't take too long this time around. In fact, I'm more than halfway done!
