You know... after nearly 9 years of trying, I honestly thought I would NEVER make it into the featured box's top three slots. At the time of writing, the outpouring of support for this story keeps leaving me in awe and I don't know what to expect, any more!
I... I really don't know what to say except THANK YOU!
Thank you to Venerable Ro, who commissioned the piece and had this fantastic idea, to begin with. He was willing to put his money where his mouth was and knew from the very start this story would be a hit!
Thank you to my fellow adventurers on The Adventurer's Guild Discord Server, who have not only encouraged me and were some of the first to shine a spotlight on Sapphire Scales, but have also been VERY patient with my constant screaming and panicking about this story's success! You guys are the best, sorry for spamming!
And a thank you to ALL of you readers out there who were kind enough to give your time and attention to my very first commissioned piece! This kind of success takes each and every one of you, and all of the thank yous in the world can't express how grateful I am!
For the moment, Sapphire Scales: Sister's Tales was commissioned for a length of 20,000 words, which resulted in about 6 chapters that cover time up to... certain events in the show. The story will continue updating daily until all six of those chapters have been posted!
After that... things are a little up in the air. Ro and I mentioned the idea of an extension in passing, depending on whether or not the first six chapters were warmly received. I think it's safe to say that's the most MILD way of putting the reception this story's gotten! The idea was that, if it went well, we could continue to cover this alternate timeline and how Saphira's presence in Equestria not only shapes the events of the show, but her and Twilight's personal lives, as well.

Congrats in the unexpected success of the fic (considering how popular books are I was expecting this story to get attention, but not this much, I’m honest surprised). I really need to get around and read what you have published so far, considering the quality of “The Multiverse in a Nutshell”, I’m petty sure that reading this fic is going to be a god time
Also, I wonder if I end up shipping Saphira with Twilight just like I did with Eragon and Saphira :P (yes I know Arya is there, but come on! When has a little innocent shipping fun hurt anyone? Besides for me shipping is more about the thought experiment that is making the relationship work)

The concept is simple and has been done before with other things but works Amazingly well with Eragon and Saphira.
Honestly I am somewhat surprised no one has thought of this idea for a story beforehand. But then again Eragon is a series that has sadly faded into obscurity.
To be fair you have shown to be a very skilled writer with your other story "The Multiverse in a Nutshell" and this concept just works ridiculously well.
It's a nice and sweet story so far I will enjoy seeing it grow thank you for writing it
