So if anyone’s wondering what the Indonesian government’s position in Myanmar is

Myanmar: “You’ll support us against the military right?”

Let me explain. Indonesia doesn’t give 2 shits about Myanmar because it doesn’t matter if the military is control or Aung Suu Kyi is control. They’ll still kill the Rohingya people and be PRC lapdogs.

Regardless who controls the country, they’ll always pander to the Chinese. What should be done is a pre-emptive Indonesia-Malaysia-Singapore coalition strike to sink the entire Myanmar Navy and turn their air force into scrap metal on the ground. It must serve as a warning if they keep killing the Rohingya because their actions have made it everyone’s problems. Rohingya refugees flooded the ASEAN countries and it’s been a headache because Aung Suu Kyi was suppose to be the leader to change everything.

Clearly, she wasn’t and it’d be great if an unguided bomb from an Indonesian Sukhoi/Singaporean F-15 “accidentally” lands on her house.

15 F-15EX for the 1st batch out of 32 total fighters

2 A330 MRTT with unknown future batches

This is just the first phase for the air force. Heard rumors the AWACS will be SAAB Globaleye. Rafales and EX Eagles. Interesting combo not seen anywhere in Southeast Asia.

The Navy will also get busy soon. They’ve laid out a plan for 13 additional submarines, a mixture of Enlarged Scorpenes and Type 214s, and 12-15 more Frigates, a mixture of Iver Huitfeldts, FREMM, and 30FFM. Because the previous Minister of Defense set Indonesia’s modernization plans by 5 years because he did fucking nothing during his tenure, the current administration is rushing to throw out the “Minimal Essential Force” and pursue the “Ideal Essential Force”. That means Indonesia’s aiming to not just have the largest and most powerful military force in Southeast Asia, but also the most advanced.

France is game to help Indonesia meet these goals and perhaps Germany too. Question is, does the US want to play ball? Here’s the thing to keep in mind. There may be an arms race in the region since Australia and Singapore has to react, but both will always suffer the same disadvantage. No matter how many advanced toys you can give them, they’ll never have the manpower and money to keep up with Indonesia.

Philippines is...stuck in no man’s land. Indonesia can’t help them, they have to figure things out themselves and stop with the glorifying America attitude. It doesn’t help you at all. Thailand doesn’t know who tf is their leader since their king is in Germany fucking around, and everyone else is knee deep in shit. Except for Vietnam. I think the only ones Indonesia should rely on is Vietnam.
