New Yo-Kai, How Should They Meet?

So, a few years ago, I started getting interested in a game/anime called Yo-Kai Watch, and the tagged story is about Spike's adventures when he gets introduced to Yo-Kai. I had a few fake Yo-Kai made before I started the story, and I wanted to get some opinions on how they should become friends with Spike

This Yo-Kai is Negativoni. He's a unique fusion of Suspicioni, Tantroni, and Contrarioni, and while he's not as strong as Yo-Kai like Gargaros(Which Spike randomly befriended because of the Crank-a-Kai), he's still a very powerful Yo-Kai, as what is to be expected of an A Rank Yo-Kai. Now, the question is, should Spike meet the fusees and fuse them together, or should he meet Negativoni already fused? Negativoni is the kind of guy who would make you question a person's taste in company, since he is basically the embodiment of negative personality traits, he's rude, gets angry very easily, rough around the edges, talks over and interrupts others, and much, much more, so being friends with such a person would easily strike most people as odd, and even a bit suspicious.

My second Yo-Kai is called Jolly Robber. He was a feared and despised pirate who forgot where he buried $100K worth of treasure, and by the time he remembered where it was, somebody else already found it. Because of his anger and despair, when he died, he became Jolly Robber. Gutsy Bones, the first boss from the three Yo-Kai Watch 2 games is his cousin, and when Jolly Robber inspirits someone, he makes them take all their valuables and hide them away, and proceeds to steal them and put them in his cousin's Crank-a-Kai machine, causing his victims to be forced into playing Gutsy Bones' game in order to get their valuables back.

Both of these Yo-Kai belong to the Shady Tribe, and while I do have two more Yo-Kai, one of them is Spike in his Yo-Kai form and the other one is a Wicked Executive, and Wicked Yo-Kai didn't exist in the original Yo-Kai Watch, so she'll appear in the sequel, if and when I get around to it after finishing the first story. I don't know the artist in person, but the two of us have been doing business together for a couple of years now
