Mid-Pandemic Madness · 6:49pm Jan 8th, 2021
It’s been a while, Zytharrians! How are all of you doing? Lots going on recently, so I thought I’d update all of you as to what I’ve been up to!
First of all, an old fan fiction of mine, HIM, is featured on the Stranger than (fan)Fiction podcast here: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/episode-18-the-worst-episode-ever/id1529342959?i=1000504133502 ! This is the third feature on another’s project since being featured in this research paper by Andrew Crome of the University of Manchester: (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/14755610.2014.984234 ) on the intersection between religion and fan fiction a number of years ago, the Hungarian translation, and the dramatic reading by Henny Penny Benny! Check it out! There’s some language in the podcast, so be forewarned. If you want to check out the original story, it’s linked at the top of the blog.
Second, I’m going to be launching two new albums this year! The first is “Destination: Space!”, a semi-lofi instrumental adventure through the universe. The second is a hard rock album I’m putting the final touches on titled “The Abyss.” I’m currently planning on putting them out through my regular outlet over at http://zytharros.bandcamp.com , but I’m also going to attempt to issue them out to streaming services, maybe through iTunes and other online stores as well. Hopefully, this will pan out! Crossed fingers!
I think that’s it as far as I know. I may or may not start streaming this coming year, depending on if/when I can get my webcam setup initiated, so that may or may not be a thing, as well. Who knows? I’m looking forward to this year, keeping busy despite the pandemic. Here’s to a better year than last!
