Like the character is a slave who gets emotionally, psychologically, and physically abused and neglected.

Like, if you are a depressed communist who *redacted* sure, this will appeal to you. You can relate it to the horrors of uh colonialism haha.
You can keep telling yourself it won't get better.
Just like the writing. It won't get better. How did I end up here? Just because its Fallout and I'm trying to refind the high of the original FO:E? Yes that's exactly why.
