Opening the Discord! · 9:47pm Dec 27th, 2020
Hey there, fellow adventurers! I hope you all had/are having a very happy holiday season! Personally, I celebrate Christmas, which means that I'm now in that weird period between Christmas and New Year's where productivity is near-impossible and nothing feels real, which I've seen other people call "Liminal Space-mas" and am absolutely stealing to use, myself!
Anyway, Christmas being over means that my brain has descended back into Multiverse hell, and that got me thinking about a lot of things related to content creation... including something that's gone pretty unused.
As some of you should know, I have a discord server intended to be a place for me and members of my Patreon to hang out together! Turns out, there's a problem with that idea...
Multiple months in, I still have zero patrons.
SOOOOO instead of letting the server keep gathering dust, I've decided to open it up to anyone who wishes to join! I've made a "New Adventurer" role for those who can't or would prefer not to support me on Patreon so that we can all hang out there without confusion!
I really want to have a place where people can talk about their stories, their fandoms, etc without needing to worry about staying to a theme. I'm always going to be up for talking about Multiverse, if that's what you're interested in, but I genuinely don't want this server to be just about that or just about me. The Multiverse in a Nutshell certainly isn't bound by themes or certain fandoms, and I want people to just come and be creative, fanboy/fangirl/fanother together, and have a place they're welcome to talk about whatever gets them excited! You don't have to be a writer or an artist or anything like that to be welcome, you just need to be excited about something!
I'll definitely be there and be active, myself, probably bouncing ideas off of people who don't mind it and chipping in to conversations wherever and whenever I can!
