Spike walked into Twilight's to see her cleaning up. Her eyes met Spike's. He asked Twilight who she was cleaning up for. She told him the Princess had another wedding to go to. She had some wedding gifts and she could use the help. Spike asked her what had she said to the Princess? He wanted to know if he had been right about her? He told Twilight how he really thought she was going to stay with him. But the Princess was with the Prince. She had lied to Spike. Spike had to leave to meet his friends to play cards.

As Quartz stood in her throne room. She told his Royal Masters to leave her now. The soldiers were to carry the Princess away. She then made it clear to the royal family that she was the one in charge now and they would do as she wanted. The Princess, her aunt, and her brother were all brought before her. Spike was waiting in a secret spot near the palace. As and her advisor. Both of them seemed to have overheard the conversation between the Royal Masters and Queen. The Princess and her interrogation began.

"How can you win the heart of a vampire? How can you win the heart of the most powerful vampire in the world?"

A young woman, an army general in vampire form stood in front of them. The interrogation continued as the others glared at each other. Spike stared with interest at his new and old friends.

"I have no desire for your daughter," his father told him. Spike looked at the vampire angrily, and his eyes glowed in the darkness. "Of course not. How can I have her, when she is more mine than yours?"

"Why do you bother yourself with this girl?"

"It's like I told you once, you are not to and sleep in."

Puppy scratched his ear, and turned to walk away. "Your son is a hero. Not like us. He can save people, He grew tired of this conversation and asked him to leave. The elder said that he would talk to Spike later, then stormed out of the cave. Spike was angry. He was only trying to help the lad, and it still didn't work.

"I hate my father," Spike told Bucky Barnes. "But I want to stay here and help him. I can see he's sick. And maybe I can help. I won't be like my father though."

Through the night the cold grew stronger. The mist was thick, and Spike was cold. He sat up and said, "Bucky?" He frowned when he realized that it wasn't Bucky. "Fancy meeting you here," said the man Spike recognized. He had his Red Skull uniform on, and a wicked smile on his face."
