Next Midnight Rising chapter (re-)releases tonight · 3:05pm Dec 4th, 2020
My knee is improving and creative energies recovering, enabling me to write again. And thus, having received enthusiastic prereader approval (thanks, AJA!), the next updated Midnight Rising chapter is going live late this afternoon before I head for the gym to get swole--about 5pm US Eastern.
This latest chapter revamp isn't just dramatically expanded, jumping from 3800 words to 6500, it's almost completely rewritten. It's also been retitled, because the emphasis has been changed from Fleur de Lis to the four Shadowbolt boys present at the Friendship Games. Fleur will get her own chapter and at least a slightly different treatment than before, but for now, the boys take center stage.
I'll spoiler the content. As discussed in the previous blog entry, Midnight takes exception to the boys constantly taking sexual liberties, at times quite major ones, with her instead of giving them a pass as she did before. This means some sensual punishment including magically induced all-male moments are in the offing. But for those not into it, there will still be a signficant amount of M/F and F/F interest in here. Suffice to say, the boys will get a richly deserved and suitibly erotic comeuppance at the end.
Next up is the revamp of Fleur De Lis scene, now given its own chapter, though I may sprinkle in some side action with Upper Crust in as well. Beyond that lies the Sour Sweet chapter, which I also intend to rewrite pretty much in full as I don't like the angle I originally took (Midnight putting SS in even momentary fear for her life was not nice or necessary), as well as an entirely new chapter involving Principal Cinch herself.
Ironically, the stuff I'll probably change the least in v2 of this story will be the Sunlight chapters and the ending, because that's what folks liked the most of the original version. But that lies in the future. Hope you enjoy the new chapter tonight!
Speaking of Fleur, does Fancy exist in this universe? Does he goes to CP or does Fleur prefer older man?
