This minor villain from the pony pov series, Hydia's ex-husband, Krastos The Glue Maker, is mentioned only twice, and both in passing in Magic Star's starring chapter.

Re-reading it now, I imagine he didn't simply murder ponies and used their remains to make glue. That's SADISTIC enough, but not MAGICAL enough.
As a WARLOCK, I imagined he targeted ponies, and used his magic to hypnotize them into thinking how nice it would be to be a simple happy jar of glue, helping holding stuff together, no problem or worries. And then perverting the pony's own magic combined with his own to turn the victim into a little cute looking transparent, pony shaped, jar of glue (like the honey bottle shaped like a teddy bear). And then simply sell them off, as many times to knowing collectors as to innocent people who LIKED ponies and bought the jars as a tribute to them... the pony's thoughts and memories becoming weaker the more the glue was used up.
The victim is fully awareness, but blissfully thinks of themselves as just a glue pot, even as their thoughts and memories are poured out of them.
The pony was unable to restored if the glue in the jar was effectively used up, and a pony that was half emptied before being restored would loose roughly half their life span.
I also imagine him wearing a scarf and his warlock's hat, keeping everything hidden except his glowing eyes. This is how I imagine now the father of Draggle and Reeka, the utter monster who'd be capable of winning Hydia's black lump of coal where her heart should be!
