Nightmare Night Chapter 33 launches tonight · 2:15pm Oct 5th, 2020
Titled "Command Corruption", it's become a doozie, in the immortal words of Pinkie Pie 
, and once again borrows heavily on AJ_Aficionado's too-good-not-to-use thestral lore as the Canterlot Castle Command Center is corrupted and converted, with all the M-rated action it implies.
The chapter currently contains two major scenes, though I'm considering bumping the second one to the next chapter as 1) we're already near 10,000 words and 2) the first scene is, to both me and AJA, more powerful, leaving the second one potentially anticlimactic. Without it, we'd still be approaching 7000 words long but it would let the stronger scene have the spotlight to itself. I'll make the decision by tonight.
It's also worth noting that I'm introducing two prereader/coauthor OCs to each other in this chapter--Lady Delta Requiem and High Priestess Juniper Neptune. The former belongs to Leo Archon, and the latter to AJA. At the suggestion of the former, some interesting backstory will be hinted at between the two!
If I bump the second scene, that just means the next chapter will follow in a matter of days to close out the Canterlot action. It will have a... suitable scene and ending, and even a sacrifice of sorts as Luna tests herself against the temptations she succumbed to in the past, and gets pushed to the very edge of it again. But before that? Enjoy the coming chapter, which should have something for everyone!
