Hello everyone/everypony!
I am happy to announce a couple of things. Firstly, my boss has cut the hours and days I work to accommodate with my schooling. Combine that with the fact that I have online school three days of the week, and it all adds up to more free time for me. It is because of this change that I have been able to work a bit more on my story.
That brings me to number two. I have finished and published chapter six of my story! And it only took nearly four months. Yeah, again sorry about that. I think I said in my last post that, along with work and school, I'm also just a really slow writer. I'm likely to post a new chapter every once and awhile. Just when you think I'm gone, there it is. I'm also a huge procrastinator. I just want to make sure this all gets out in the open, make sure I'm being completely honest as to why updates are so slow. Sometimes I'll even just do random blog posts to keep from working on the story. It's not even that I don't want to, it's just that I believe in letting the creativity and ideas come when they come and no sooner. Can't find the will to work on a creative project that you want to? Don't worry about it, it'll come to you.
Anyways, that's all I have to say this time around. Guess that means it's time for another song, huh? Actually, about that. If any of you have a song you'd like me to listen to, go ahead and comment. I'll give it a listen, then give you my honest opinion on it.
This time the song is another choice. If you want some just good silly stuff that could also serve as a tribute to Charlie Daniels go with option one. It's yet another "Devil Went Down To Georgia" cover, but this one's mostly on accordion, performed by Those Darn Accordions, a strange little accordion rock band. If you want something less silly, option two is for you. It's a wonderful gem by Austrian musician Falco. No, it's not "Rock Me Amadeus", that gets too much attention, this one is "Vienna Calling".
