Sorry about the delay in updates on this story. I have the chapter mapped out, and the delay comes down to a few lines of dialogue that are tripping me up.
I'm going to take a breather and sit the chapter aside for a few more days and work on some other things. It's not an indefinite hiatus, as I should be back to it within the week. In the meantime, I will be doing an editing pass over some of the earlier chapters and working on a fresh update for Starting Over, which is my other unexpected adoption story- although with very different circumstances and dynamics.
I do have some notes to share about how I intend to handle character perspectives in the story. Silver Spoon is meant to have the majority of perspectives in the early chapters. Sisstet will slowly have some perspectives and chapters worked in while Silver Spoon is still getting the majority of chapters. This will transition to where they share an equal amount if chapter time, and then transition to where Sisstet will have the majority of chapters with Silver Spoon getting occasional sections or chapters.
The story is also going to have three main arcs with significant time jumps (years) between them. There may be shorter time jumps of a few days or weeks within these arcs. Still, these shouldn't be too jarring for long time readers of mine who are used to me following characters so closely that they wouldn't be shocked at if I wrote half a chapter following their internal thoughts while taking a dump on the toilet and have spent upwards to a small novel-length of words telling about a single day's actions.
