The one fun thing I found about that episode was the use of a bootleg paradox, and then I have a fic in my Read Later where Star Swirl never wrote a time spell so Older Twi and Luster have to write the spell and go back through time and put it in the Library for Twilight to find so the paradox can't be broken and all sorts of things.
