Dear Cozy Glow,

it's me, Fluttercheer, and I wanted to let you know that I am finally back to write your story.

Cozy Glow frowned. She put the letter in her hooves down and stared at it. A couple seconds later, a sarcastic smirk appeared on her face.
........"Oh, really? Why are you telling me? Do you really think I care for any of these dumb letters I get because of you? You're SO funny!" Cozy lifted her hoof and laughed into it, in a delighted manner, like somepony had just told her a silly joke. As she was done with this display of amusement, she lifted the letter back up and continued reading.

And I wanted to say sorry for being gone for so long. I bet you felt lonely during this entire time.

"Lonely? Me?" Cozy Glow puckered her lips, an expression of surprise building on her face. "Why would I feel lonely?" She cocked her head. "I have my friends right here, there is Tirek and them!" She looked past the sheet of paper at a small group of crude-looking ponies made out of sticks and pebbles and gave them a smile. "They always tell funny stories!"
........Tirek gave her a look of awkwardness. "You're losing your mind. And I am not your friend."
........Cozy Glow ignored him, focusing her attention on one of her imaginary pony friends. "You're right, Rockface, I should keep reading!" Her eyes wandered back to the letter.

I didn't intend to leave you alone for so long..... But a lot of things have happened, I have made some mistakes and then there was this major writing project I failed with..... That really crushed my writing spirit.

"Awww, you poor author." Cozy set up a mock expression of comfort, eyes looking sad and lower lip poking out. "But you don't have to feel sorry for that, I really don't care if you aren't writing and if I don't get any letters. They all annoy me, anyway!"

I know you enjoy getting these letters, even though you don't want to admit that,

Cozy Glow's eyes narrowed. "Lies," she hissed. "I couldn't care less!"

and I bet you're anxiously waiting for more letters by Commander Tempest.

Now Cozy blushed and her cheeks puffed up. Her eyes narrowed even more and anger rose in her face. "You know me too well....." Her voice turned into a sharp blade. "If you ever use that knowledge against me, I'll make you suffer for it."

I can't promise you that she will be writing you soon, but I have returned, so you will finally get some letters again now, Cozy.

"It better be a letter by Commander Tempest....." Cozy hissed some more. "If you want that I tolerate your annoying presence even just one tiny bit!" Her voice rose in volume and intensity at the last words, getting close to screaming, and a vein started protruding on her neck.

I just need to ask you for a little more patience now, okay? We have a lot of readers who are interested in seeing your progress and development and I want to give them some time to read all the previous letters again, so they can refresh their memories.

"Why refreshing their memories if even I forgot what's in those letters and don't care about them?"

Please hold out just a little longer, Cozy. You will get many more letters very soon!

Cozy Glow shrugged her shoulders. "More time wasters, nothing to care much about." She crumpled the letter and tossed it out between the bars of her cage. Then she looked down at the pony figures with another smile. "So, what will you have for dinner tonight, Rockface?"
........Tirek rolled his eyes and growled.

You heard it, readers of "Letters to Cozy Glow"! Cozy doesn't seem to care very much (or does she?) that I have returned, but I'm sure many of you will be happy to know that "Letters to Cozy Glow" will finally update again in just a few days!
Chapter 21 has been written now after unbelievable five months of absence from the fic. I will wait two more days after this announcement to give you all some time to re-read "Letters to Cozy Glow", since I bet a lot of you won't remember all the details after five months, but on Monday is the day of the release! "Letters to Cozy Glow" will return with Chapter 21 exactly at 8 PM EDT!
