So, just a quick blog.
I've been thinking about it for a few months now, and after a significant amount of soul-searching I've decided gender is bullshit and I don't like 'em. Not one bit. They're fine for other people but like olives on pizza I just tolerate it without complaining instead of enjoying them the way other people do.
Pineapple on pizza is valid, by the way. Anyone who believes otherwise is not welcome in Flavortown.
That said, I've decided I'm going to out-and-out say my preferred pronouns are they/them. I don't really care if people use he or she or zhxi or whatever for me, to be honest. I just notice I really prefer it when it's agender.
Anyway, not a big deal, especially not in this fandom, but I finally told someone else about it today and it felt like a weight off my chest, so I figured I'd post it here too at least out of habit.

Pineapple on pizza is how you get a giant sheet of denatured curds and stray protein juice on your pizza, like a slick of unlovable misery, and should be tried as a war crime.
Pineapple sheltered safely from the cheese under the sauce layer is barely tolerable as a small allowance for Hawaiian, when made correctly.

Still do not understand the vehemence of the anti-pineapple folks... pineapple is one of the more common toppings over here. Anchovies and prawns are less common... it still makes my local pizzeria bloke happy every time I say "With anchovies, of course. It ain't a supreme pizza without 'em!". Bacon is commonly added to any pizza without it in the standard toppings... always remember the slogan "Everything is better with bacon!"
Eh, I'll admit to being a basic bitch with my pizza. Just put pepperoni and/or sausage with some garlic salt and cayenne on my pizza and I'll be happy. I can however see the appeal pineapple as a topping.

Good choice, Supreme pizza with the optional anchovies is a good choice for an enjoyable, filling and suitable contemplative meal. May you find your balance amongst the world of good pizza and garlic bread.
The only thing I don't like on pizza is fish. Or when they switch the sauce to something else. That's always a horrific mistake yet for some reason they keep coming up with new variations on it. Just accept that mildly spicy tomato sauce is the way to go people.
Oh, also I'd say something supportive about your personal revelation, but that feels kind of awkward since we don't really know one another. Is congratulations appropriate? If it is, I offer them. I'll say this: Language can be really awkward, but I'll try to remember and use your preference.
I admit I have cultural-rooted issues concerning pineapple on pizza, as well as with another long list of ingredients which I'm deeply suspicious of. Maybe one day I'll be able to overcome it.
As for the rest, I'm happy that you found some clarity regarding yourself in what is otherwise what we could call a quite chaotic time.

I suppose it is because both of my parents are biologists, but it has always been quite simple for me. Your sex is defined by your biology, either male of female (there are exceptions, but they are so damn rare in humans and if you have the disgrace to be one, you will have so many other issues with your genes that your sex will be the least of your problems), and this only matters for defining what your body does in procreation.
For everything else, it doesn't actually matters. A skirt is not going to combust because a guy tries to put it on and a girl is not going to grow a dick because she likes wrestling. To know that some many people have so many issues with their gender, or worse how far some people go because of others gender, its a bit confusing, disturbing and enraging, depending of the action.
I also really do not understand the Pineapple on Pizza War. In my country it is considered one of the basic flavors, every single pizza place has it as an option. It's not the most requested, it's not the least, it just is.

Yeah, disgrace wasn't the right choice of words, misfortune would be more correct. Having a serious genetic issue goes from "you will have physical problems all your life" at best to "you will suffer as your body breaks down and survive at most to your teens" at worst, not a nice life to have.
Everything else you got my meaning right, your choices are your own, no-one else can decide for you what you want and the level of persecution some people suffer because of their choices is both wrong and absurd. As long as you don't hurt someone else you should be allowed to do whatever you want.
