Nothing quite as strange as a spider the size of your open hand hopping its way across the rocs at the edge of the garden. It would be more amusing if there was one the size of a large dog hopping along in a dessert, and horrifying if when you attack one and about a dozen appear, seemingly out of nowhere, and they're all after you.
