Twilight floated a second fritter up to her mouth when she realized the first was gone. “What is in these things?” “Mostly love. Love ‘n about three sticks of butter.”

Blast from the Past: Now 100% Less Likely to Get Me In Trouble

Hey, some of you guys remember that thing I did a long time ago, where I wrote up 50 questions about headcanon and suggested people answer them on their blogs, and then, like, everyone on the site wanted to do it, and then the site mods sent me nice but stern messages suggesting I cut that shit out because it was spamming people's feeds?

    Full Circle

Wanderer D posted a touching retrospective of his time in fandom, and that made me remember the very first I ever heard of the show.

Someone please take this idea from me! · 4:15am Nov 22nd, 2012

Saw this picture, and it made me think of Reservoir Dogs. And that made me think of the mane six pulling a heist. But the mane six would never steal of course, that would be wro- OMG LEVERAGE WITH PONIES! Leverage with ponies, you guys!

This needs to be a thing. Please tell me it's a thing, or that someone else will make it a thing? I don't have time to make it a thing.

:trollestia::trollestia::trollestia::trollestia::trollestia::trollestia::trollestia::trollestia::trollestia: Where hast Pinkie's breasts a gone?

526108
Her hips. You cannot tell, but her ass sticks out about five inches.:rainbowlaugh:

If someone wrote this I would read it, ponified or humanized - honestly, humanized would be pretty cool. Someone write it! Someone who doesn't have nine million essays and exams at the moment :pinkiesick:

Also, they all look totally badass like that :rainbowdetermined2:

my god... both are perfect! I may claim the idea for the Reservoir Dogs (as i have actually seen that movie) but I would need to sit down and watch leverage...:applejackunsure:

I kinda... REALLY want to write this now... but I've never written a thriller, or anything close to what this could describe. But damn... this needs to be a thing. Someone write it and I will read it.

526108 Pinkie is a B cup... then there is Dashie, who has to find lowercase bra sizes LMAO!

Damn you bookplayer! Now you have me wonderin how to have the Mane 6 pull off a heist.

Hmmm... could include Spike, Tavi, Scratch, Trixie and Big Mac, and call it Sparkle's 11...

That might work I think!

526140
In my opinion, Reservoir Dogs is the wrong tone for MLP, dark and gritty and morally ambiguous. Leverage is a group of con artists who pull cons to help people who have been screwed over by big businesses or the government. It's all about helping people get back what was stolen from them, so I could totally see the mane six doing that!

I remember that picture! I loved it when I first saw it and I love it now :rainbowkiss:

526153
yea, but I haven't seen leverage, but it sounds like White Collar (to an extent) so i could work with that... and i just realized I could make one based on WC instead:rainbowlaugh:

526165
It doesn't have to be actually based off the show, just the idea of them pulling a con. . . but for the right reasons, of course! :ajsmug:

526172
oh of course, but i like to have a general idea of what i am pulling from (if you don't follow my logic, pinkie)

Why the hell did i sudnely think if a Payday; the heist/ MLP crossover :rainbowlaugh:

Sorry, won't be able to do it. bloody midterm exams :fluttershyouch:

Now I really, really want to write something where they're humanized, Celestia is a tyrant dictator president, and they have to infiltrate the White House, become essentially mob bosses, and go all badass.

Goddamn it that sounds awesome.

For thief-ish ponies, there was this, some of which involved stealing for - well, at least not the wrong reasons.

Oh man. That pic and a humanized alt-universe heist. It sounds so good to do. Must resist writing another humanized fic... HNNNG.

Edit: To hell with it. I'll start pre-planning shortly.

I like Reservoir Dogs better than Pulp Fiction.

And that's my contribution to this discussion...

526400

I agree to this. Reservoir Dogs I honestly felt had a bit more of a meaning to it, and the characters were more sympathetic.

Though can we agree that Bruce Willis was pretty damn cool in Pulp? 'Cause Bruce was pretty damn cool in Pulp.

wow, a pic of humanized ponies i actually like, thats a first. never cared much for the idea of humanizing things but this... not bad

Anyone else feel that Joseco's art, especially his humanisations, would be a lot better if he could get over his terrible case of sameface?

Also, genius idea OP. ChuckFinley did Burn Notice, but Leverage does seem to fit FIM much better. Hell, AJ and RD's interaction is pretty much the same as Elliot and Hardison's already.

Leverage Is a great show! If I could write that I would. Also this is relevant!

The same place that Twilight's and Rainbow's have gone, apparently. :moustache:

Perhaps...

526692
That's amazing! Except that Pinkie is so much more Parker, personality wise. . . by which I mean batshit crazy. :pinkiecrazy:

Johnjoseco is one of my favorite artist.:trollestia:

Sadly I dont know any of those, so I wont be able to take this idea. But I think you have an interesting premise.

527141
This is true but dash a hacker? I mean come on, she just started to read books! :derpytongue2:

527721
. . . and she tried the steal the book. Point taken. :ajsmug:

529898
How is the morality in that fic? I'm not interested in seeing the mane six do anything morally dubious. . . Leverage is purely honorable thievery.

529908

Think Bonnie and Clyde (not very righteous when put into perspective, but desperate times will have people doing irrational things)

Read the description of the story, along with the first chapter, it might give you a feel for it.

It's not the most G rated thing on the planet either, there is high violence, and murder does happen.

529916
Not really what I'm looking for. (I read the description, that's why I asked.)

I loved the idea of using a Leverage set up because the morals in Leverage fit perfectly well for the mane six. The con artists on Leverage are using criminal means to fight criminals, for the benefit of the victims of the crimes. (An example would be if the mane six found out that Flim and Flam had put some other farm out of business, and then turned to crime to put Flim and Flam out of business and get the other farm back to it's rightful owners. It's something that's in line with the lessons of the show.)

529936

I get what you're saying (It's this reason why I think Dexter isn't a bad guy)

Also, I'm actually not familiar with Leverage... :facehoof:

This is a necro from hell--I was debating on just PM'ing you, but decided on just posting a comment. Anyway, just wanted to say that me and a couple of buds wrote out and delivered a heist fic based on that pic. :ajsmug:

Fool's gold

Let me know what you think, if you end up having a chance to read it.

598357
I won't get to read it tonight, but I'll let you know as soon as I do! Looks awesome! :ajsmug:

Thanks pal. Hope you enjoy.
