Howdy everypony,
I hope that all of you are keeping safe. This is a crazy time, I know, but we can certainly pull through. You know, I've read that both William Shakespeare and Sir Isaac Newton were in quarantine from the plague, and it was during this time that they produced some of their best work (i.e. Shakespeare wrote "King Lear" and Newton discovered the laws of gravity). We often think of them as a playwright and a scientist, but let's reflect for a moment on the fact that they were flesh and blood people just like you and me. I'm sure they both felt the same struggles that we are feeling now. Who knows, maybe in these challenging times one of you will write the next big play or discover something new?
I would also like to invite you all to participate in a fun game. To help you smile and brighten up your day (to paraphrase Pinkie Pie), I invite you to read my story, A Night at the Movies, and look for as many pop culture references as you can. Share how many you find and which ones are your favorites! Keep in mind that it's not going to be a contest, it's not going to be a race. It is simply a fun activity to help you pass the time and have some fun.
I'll see you on the trail, friends! Stay safe, do your part to stop the spread, and share the love. As near as this cowpony can figure, with a little laughter, kindness, generosity, honesty, loyalty, and magic, we will beat this.
