Thaumaturgic Synaesthesia: Litany can hear the hum of magic that most cannot hear, and can experience magic through taste, smell, and sight. Her magic sense has some peculiar developments, perhaps because of her donkey heritage, and so she can experience magic in a way that few others can. Because of this, her study of magic reveals unique insights.
Litany's lullaby functions as a sleep spell of exceptional power.
Chosen of the Night: Litany's moon and stars cutie mark grants her a few useful boons. She has a substantial resistance to magical fear, sleep spells, hostile dream magic, as well as the hostile effects caused by shadowlings. She can see in moonlight or starlight and treat it as if it were full daylight. She gains +1 to her fortitude, aptitude, and output scores at night, but -1 during daylight hours.
Emissary of the Night Court: Though only fifteen and just out of school, Litany was hoof-picked by Princess Luna herself to serve the Night Court. This gives her minor academic privilege, such as access to restricted libraries and some minor classified information. To move against an Emissary of the Night Court is to move against the Night Lady herself.

Just so you can make comparisons of magicam power. Remember, Paradox is considered fairly weak, as far as unicorns go, and Litany is by far considerably weaker.
When Sundance returns to the barony, he will find Litarny already there, sent to investigate the workings of the crystal tree and the strange magics of the land. Her task is to discover why Sundance has memories that he technically shouldn't have. She isn't a resident, but an installed emissary of the Night Court sent to act in Luna's stead. She will be a background character, but an important one. I wish that I'd written her story, but things are what they are. The story would have fleshed out her background and her abilities. Most of her interactions will be with Paradox and Carnation Nosegay.
