So, I had my first real psychologist session on Friday. Monday is my next one. · 6:40am Nov 18th, 2012
Hello, everyone! It's been a while since I commented, so I figured that I should update all of the great people here that have given me such love and support through my various issues.
What happened on Friday morning? Well, I went in, and I met Zane-- my psychologist. First of all, I should say that comes across (I'm sure this is intentional) as the 'caring, reliable older brother' type. Also, he looks exactly like the lead singer of Train. And I do mean exactly. He's pretty handsome, and he has a sort of muscular yet lean figure. He has an authoritative yet still content and close sounding sort of voice.
Anyways, what did I do? I was in full Fluttershy mode. At first, I spoke quietly. I said short snippets of things. Just think back to:
He did ask some things, prodding a bit in a gentle way. I kept on being all... Flutters-y. And I just started... and it didn't stop. He barely spoke. I pretty much monologue-d everything that I've told you guys in these posts.
I got in at 8am or so. I met Zane at 9. I got out at about 10:30. Yeah, it was that much talking. He seems to practice the sort of "patient-centered therapy" method in which the psycholigst emphasizes being close, being positive, being non-threatening, and so on. He didn't talk that much, but he did work as a sort of tugboat almost keeping me, the barge (in this metaphor), on path. He kept my speaking focused.
And, well, the rest of Friday was pretty good. And today has been very, very nice. So...
Is the last episode any good?
Tell me, people! I haven't watched it since I've basically been at work all day.
At first, it was frustrating today since the Indian students were all sloppy and disorganized with their actual event. However, the after-event party post-event was fantastic. Turned the lights down and danced, danced, danced— until I could barely breathe. They even had me in their snake-line dance line. *so awesome*
Anyways, I've been on a sort of hiatus from fimfiction, but I still am living through my depressive issues. I'm positive about Monday, my next appointment time.

As for the episode, it was funny, probably a lot more than that since I have to be in a mood or be really funny. But funny all the same.
I hope reality lessens its grip on your mind so you may right for us once again.
If you still haven't seen it, it focuses on a side of Pinkie that usually doesn't come up ANYWHERE, her sad side. She actually has a bit of an existentiality crisis, and was very fufilling in the aspect. There were also two big references that will brighten up any hardcore MLP fan.
Episode = super good. Very super good, and with alotz a' churucturr durvurlupment fur Purnkie Purr.
Anyways, glad that the therapist was a cool guy. I do hope that you start feeling better soon.
