Hello, everyone... I know it has been a long time since I posted anything here, but that is how life goes sometimes, I guess. Sorry I haven't written anything recently, or updated my final story, but it's been hard getting any motivation to put finger to keyboard. I will get back and finish what I started sometime, but every time I try to sit down and write... nothing happens, total writer's block.
Sadly, pony has been the farthest thing from my mind lately, as so much has been goign on elsewhere. I've been so busy taking care of two elderly parents, and trying to keep everything together, that it's hard to feel happy enough to even think about pony again. So much has changed since I started writing here; people have come and gone, I've made and lost friends, the show has ended, even as I watched the rise and fall of this fandom. I am mostly solitary these days, my friends have all moved on to other things, while I remain right where I am.
Someday, when the cycle comes around again, I hope nostalgia for this show leads to a fan interest in a revival of some kind. Maybe my fics will still be around then, and find a new audience. Like I said, I will write more pony in the near future, I promise, but it's going to take a long time to get myself back there. Anyway, I hope you are all having a good new year, and as the theme song to the original MLP series said: "May fortune smile on you."
