Scribbler's newest reading is Bradel's Princess Luna Likes Coffee!
My newest reading is Tumbleweed's Displaced in the Butt: A Human in Equestria Story!
Big news! Aquaman's Harmony (which I reviewed earlier this year in the Incompletes edition) is finally marked complete! How's the ending? Uhh… brief. It's rushed and full of snarky meta jokes, but it does bring the story to a conclusion even if it promises a lot more than it shows. So maybe not what we were all hoping for, but it's all about the journey, right? :B More people need to finish their old stories.
And it turns out the answer to the question "where are the new readers come from?" is "Equestria Daily", as I just added three more to the list the other day. :B Reviews.

Wew, a first reading! Well, she needs either a better mic or better software, or both. :B I had to give up partway through because there were just too many excess noises for me to be able to concentrate on the story. I'd be willing to give her another chance down the road, at least.
Genre: Diamond Tiara Reformation
Diamond Tiara tells her daughter a story of her own follies.
I find myself rather nonplussed by this one. I noted to myself that Diamond's characterization felt very young, given that she's supposed to be older, and that kind of set expectations for the rest of the story. The conversation between her and Cheerilee felt overly realistic, if that makes any sense, while likely not going quite far enough in approaching the subject of Diamond's bullying. Plus, we never really find out what happens, and I'd have kind of liked to know what her daughter's misdeeds were. The story-within-a-story works as an abject lesson, but it rings fairly hollow in hindsight. Well, it's an old fic.

The Chicken Goddess by Mr101

Scootaloo helps Fluttershy take care of her chickens.
The joke was old by the time this story was written, but the author had the decency to take it in an original direction. I mean, literally no one saw religious zealot chickens coming. XD The final punchline is pretty flat compared to the rest of the story, but that's just because I had so much fun with it.

Just Another Day in Equestria by Majin Syeekoh

Another one that goes straight into the yes bin! No frills or music, just a good reading. I particularly liked his Spike voice for some reason.
Genre: Random Comedy
It all started when Twilight ate a book.
This is nothing but pure nonsense, and I loved every moment of it. Funnily, it seemed in the first three weird events that this might be just a pile of references to other stories, and I would have been up for that. But a semblance of plot makes itself known shortly thereafter, and maintains a very strong internal logic for the rest of the story. This might not blow anyone's mind, but it's good, goofy fun.

The question of cutie marks comes around every generation.
It's funny: this was written in 2015, but there are a very few details that would need to be changed to bring it into line with modern Apple Family canon. Bravo on the author's part, and bravo also for this story. It's quite simple, but effective, taking a scene from Bloom & Gloom and expanding it into an emotional look at the Apples. That said, it actually got me wondering about season one canon, but I expect I'll have written a blog about that before you read this review, so we'll talk about it then. Suffice to say, this is quite a good little piece and I'll need to check out more by this author soon.

One Head of Cattle by Trick Question

Her voice is bright and clear, her delivery is solid, and she even did some voices. A hit if you ask me!

Twilight has a conversation with a cannulated cow.
And if you don't know what is, the story will explain it to you! It hasn't exactly kept me up nights, but the question of why cows and sheep in Equestria appear to be sapient yet are tended to entirely by ponies is a strong one. (And of course, the show abandoned it pretty early on.) This story tackles it head-on with an interesting linguistic solution. And while I kind of felt like it ended too soon, that's just because I wanted confirmation that I was picking up what was being laid down. It's certainly hard to miss, so I can't complain.

Being the immortal god-mother princess of ponykind makes it really hard to get laid.
I've read stories like this before, but this one amused by getting past the "can't get laid" problem and replacing it with "Celestia has slim pickings". Doesn't come to much of a conclusion, but the run up to the punchline is highly amusing.

Ah, I remember One Word. Like you, I thought is was "okay". If I recall correctly, BronyWriter did confirm that Diamond got expelled.
