Interview with Flammewerfer

“Alright, now tell me, my dear friend, what inspired your username?”
Response: There was really no deep thought into this, nor was this a name that I had used in some variant throughout my childhood. When I was first starting up on another writing site that has horrific formatting that I shall not name (but I’m sure we all know what it is), I realized that I needed an alias. Welp, the first word that SOMEHOW came into mind was Flammenwerfer. So, there we go. It stuck ever since.
“What drew you into Mlp?”
Response: The memes. Plain and simple. I started seeing a bunch of dumb but somewhat funny memes pop up all over the place. I say ‘somewhat’ because I didn’t understand the whole context behind them. In order to understand the context, I had to watch the show, so I started. One episode led me to realize that I suddenly binged the whole season 1 in one night.
So, came for the memes. Stayed for the pretty decent story.
“Who is your favorite pony and why?”
Response: Luna… and I’m sure that’s a pretty generic answer among a lot of people. I’m tempted to say “I relate to her” but I feel that’s another generic answer and kind of a cop-out. What can I say? I like navy blue on a hoers.
“Favorite episode and why?”
The one-hundred episode special. Too many memes, man. Too many memes! That and they also blatantly stole things from fanon and that made me ‘ave a giggle, m8.
“Give us the background of the author! Tell us all about you. Well in a short summary.
Response:
I’ve been described as a walking shitpost sometimes. Really though, as anonpencil would say, I’m probably the most ‘normie’ person of the barcast. If you saw me on the street I look like a dude with a fairly ‘normal’ life. In reality, I’m a data analyst by trade and a writer of pones by night… when inspiration strikes me of course. Otherwise I just binge youtube and play vidya games.
“With Mlp coming to an end, tell us one thing you have learned from your experiences, and how it has helped you to grow?
Response:
It’s taught me how to learn from and take criticism like a champ. Honestly wouldn’t be where I am today writing-wise if it weren’t for a bunch of peeps telling me I was writing drivel. Even when I’m purposefully writing drivel, there’s a more elegant way to go about it, and for that I thank all my readers. This ability to take responsibility and criticism has also translated into real life, and helped me there as well, I’d like to think.
“Is there anything else you'd like to say?
Response:
I would like to formally appeal that the name for ‘erectile dysfunction’ be changed to ‘ballzeimers.’
