Just wanted to let everyone that wanted to know...
Our Halloween kitty Cora has crossed the rainbow bridge...10/30/2019...
She stopped eating and drinking altogether, we noticed that it was a bit harderto give her the twice daily meds. Thoughtshe was gettingbetter and such. But...at the vet yesterday they did an exam. As they should...because after knowing she had 3 big seizures that we saw happen. We also could smell on her that smell of infection. God knows how many times she had a seizure when we had to be at work or in a deep sleep ourselves.
Anyways...the vet found ulcers under her tongue. The poor baby...god...no wonder why she stopped eating and fighting medicine time. Even though her liver, thyroid and kidney counts were where we wanted them. But the vet noticed that Cora's hemoglobin counts were higher then normal. We both knew that there was potential for cancer.
She was in pain...having seizures had to terrify her...my poor baby...we did the right thing...gods...
Cora may you rest easy my little Miss Mewmew Halloween kitten...may you join your siblings Bubba, Boots, Peanut and Bella....we love you even if you only were with us here a short time....just knowing you were loved and cared for and not in a shelter or the streets is a biiiig blessing....
