Update: Chapter 4 RELEASED!! (Plus Ch.4 Author Notes and Schedule!)

I've been sitting on chapter 4 for a bit, due to looking for another pre-reader to look over it and now it's good to go!!

So onto a brief bit of commentary:

Chapter 4 was a first for a lot of things. My first chapter that broke 10 pages (I think) and my first chapter to break 5k words. Among STORY related firsts was the presentation of both Rarity (At LAST) and Hoity Toity. Now, the thing is much like Fleur I have no means of properly translating his accent onto text, it's definitely not as easy as it is for Photo Finish who I also had fun writing for in this chapter again.

If it isn't obvious, I hit roadblocks throughout writing the chapter, it may be a bit clear in the moments where the chapter slowed down and pick up, primarily in the middle. But there were a LOT of times during it I had a lot of fun writing, especially the conclusion to the chapter.

Getting to finally bring Rarity into the story was a bit of a struggle, but I have my editor again to thank for springboarding ideas to help me make that work out.

So yeah, that's all for now. But here's the thing to note on. Chapter 5 will likely be just as long as chapter 4 was... If not potentially longer as I'm probably gonna shorten what WAS going to be chapter 6 and merge it with 5 OR I'm gonna make chapters 5 and 6 short and release them both at the same time. Chapters 5/6 (or both) will also mark the end of Fluttershy's story and focus on Rarity from then on, as Fluttershy's character development will peak at that point and any further changes don't need as major of a focus as Rarity's will.

Also the prologue for the next project I'm working on has been fully written up and we have a rough storyline worked up. Chapter's 5 and 6 will be followed by the release of this prologue, being it connects timeline wise with the events of Woven Right. I think everyone should be pleased with this and hopefully will enjoy my handling of this newer pairing. I look to make Woven Right and this upcoming fic only the first half to a fully established alternate universe styled fic for FiM. As I've said, characters are behaving different and to sort of give some minor things away, half will remain as they are from their canon behavior with the other half having significant changes in behavior.

After that, chapter releases will coincide between the fics. so chapter 6/7 for Woven Right will release when chapter 1/2 is ready to be released. The prologue however will be used as a means of filling the void between my releases of the last chapters for the first half of Woven Right and the second half, as well as the beginning of the new fic.

Many apologies if this is all coming off weirdly worded, it's been a long day and I'm in a bit of a haze...

Last but not least worth mentioning, this upcoming project is a collaboration between myself and my editor. A good chunk of this was his idea and I mostly helped with the trimming and refining it to more coherent means. It's another pairing I've wanted to tackle for a while, especially after a particular episode involving this character.
