So I came up with an idea for a raritwi immortal!twilight comic a long time ago and I'm probably not gonna turn it into a proper fic because of reasons, so I figured I might as well share it here since I also shared it in my Tumblr

I kind of feel that Twilight seeing the end of her one true love would go full on nutso and attempt to bend the laws of time, magic, whatever to keep Rarity alive. She would break, no shatter the Universe for Love.

Needed this especially since Rarity got shafted in the finale, particularly for her solo. Like. I wonder what interesting changes or events have happened to Ra- oh it's Yona and Sandbar and oh ok that's it.

This was really lovely, and made me choke up.

It also made me realize something. I was a big fan of the Avengers comics growing up, and my favorite character was the Vision whose love interest was Wanda Maximof, the Scarlet Witch. (I’m still used to having to explain this stuff, even though they’ve now been in the biggest films in the world.) In any event, I was a sucker for that relationship, where the sincere and practical artificial being of science had deep emotions for the fiery and ofttimes playful witch.

So this comic idea had me remembering one of my favorite issues of “What If?” which explored the future of these characters and what might become of their love in the face of human mortality. So I looked it up online and found some art, including this:
