Epilogue for Sweetie Belle Gains a Soul - My novel is now complete · 9:36pm Sep 7th, 2019
It’s been quite a ride since the first draft. The idea for this story is what brought me to this site. It’s been over 6 years ago when the first chapter was published. Much paper was spent on this story from then to now to make the story what it is today:
(this is an actual picture of some of my notes for this novel)
For those of you who were waiting for the story to change its status from Incomplete —> Complete, this is it.
With the Epilogue published, the story is now completely finished and published.
Let me know in the comments what you thought of my Opus Grande.
The ending left me mad and interested at the same time. Mad that she didn't use the blade to attack purple spaz and interested in what she said to herself.
We need a sequel!
also the talk about giving her electroshock "therapy" to "correct" her informs me of the medical science level for this story.
5117789 Everypony in this novel battled with their own demons. They all hid their sinful ways. Sweetie Belle was the one pony who achieved victory. She transcended beyond the darkness inside her and embraced the imperfect world around her. She didn't let herself be corrupted from within and without.
Yes, Twilight was a monster as well, but if all monsters were punished, there would be nopony left standing.
Electroshock therapy is still used in the human day and age.
In pony world, however, don't think electroshock therapy is the most barbaric medical procedure in their arsenal.
... how can she transcend the darkness if it is an external force placed upon her and was winning the battle? Did I miss a piece of the puzzle that showed the "darkness" left her? It was still pulling strings to slowly take over her body and trap her mind in a pocket of itself. It just needed more time to finish. Does loosing the horn remove the "taint"? Was sombra imbued in only the horn which was removed?

It was winning, but Sweetie Belle didn't let it win at the end. She broke the chains that bind her. At least for a time.
Well, that is something that Sweetie Belle would like you to believe. Here's how you should think about Sweetie Belle:
Indeed.
Well, Sweetie Belle's horn did turn reddish. That's something to go on, right?
Also in the rhymes of Xerath:
And mostly, Sweetie Belle doesn't seem so very evil anymore, so nothing at all is amiss here anymore, right?

hmm... I could go either way though I will believe that she is still evil with the intent to lay low due to what she said at the end. I wish to see more "evil" shenanigans.
