Looks like Sprites and Dice had a review of the Tails of Equestria table-top roleplaying game. I was a little worried going in that they were just going to shit on it for being pony-related, but it seems like a fair assessment, albeit brief. I haven't looked at that game yet, but it's certainly understandable that it's pretty basic so that younger players can understand it.
Not only younger players! I've played it, and even as someone who's long been put off D&D-type stuff by all the stats and such, I had a good time. Mind you, we basically used the rulebook as a guide rather than anything more formal, so maybe we weren't the best example!
I wonder if thats the game, when it was first announced, that there was a feedback loop in the character generator, that as an middle aged adult character let you max all the stats?
Theres been several intresting simple FIM systems, nice to see this one selling and playing.
