New Cards:
Clover, Mystic Mind 3GU
Legendary Planeswalker — Clover
You have no maximum hand size.
+2: Draw a card, then return a land you control to its owner’s hand. You may play an additional land this turn.
+1: Add an amount of C equal to the number of cards in your hand minus 4.
-10: Put X +1/+1 counters on each creature you control, where X is half the number of cards in your hand, rounded up.
Clover, Mystic Mind can be your commander.
4
Nuphara, River’s Rose GGGUUU
Legendary Creature — Elemental Shaman
Nuphara, River’s Rose gets +X/+X, where X the number of cards in your hand.
You have no maximum hand size.
At the beginning of your draw step, draw an additional card.
Discard three cards: Nuphara gains indestructible until end of turn. Prevent all damage it would deal this turn.
0/0
Opogojo, Lake Tyrant 3GU
Legendary Creature — Serpent
Vigilance, trample
Landfall — Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, tap up to one target creature an opponent controls. If that land is an Island, that creature doesn’t untap during its controller’s next untap step. If that land is a Forest, put a +1/+1 counter on Opogojo, Lake Tyrant. If that land is nonbasic, draw a card.
4/4
2G Verdant Bargain
Sorcery (Rare)
Search your library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle your library. Target opponent may search their library for a basic land card, put it onto the battlefield tapped, then shuffle their library. If they do, untap up to four lands.
An earthly exchange of horizons.
Mark of Nuphara 2GG
Enchantment — Aura (Uncommon)
Enchanted creature gets +1/+1 for each card in your hand.
Discard two cards: Enchanted creature gains hexproof until end of turn.
Aspiring shapers seek the teachings of the River’s Rose, drawing strength from boundless imagination.
Infornado 4UU
Sorcery (Rare)
Each player discards all cards in their hand, then draws that many cards. Return all nonland permanents with converted mana cost X or less to their owners' hands, where X is the greatest number of cards drawn this way.
”Due to damages from an unauthorized gnostikinesis spell, tuition will increase by 2000%.”
— Notice from Breyon Lennis, Tolarian Adjunct
Tolarian Adjunct 2U
Creature — Human Wizard (Uncommon)
When you cast this spell, reveal any number of blue cards in your hand. Tolarian Adjunct enters the battlefield with that many lore counters on it.
U, T, Remove all lore counters from Tolarian Adjunct: Counter target spell unless its controller pays 1 for each counter removed this way.
1/2
Identity Anchor 2
Artifact (Rare)
Permanents can't become copies or enter the battlefield as copies.
Tokens that are copies can't be created.
3, T, Sacrifice Identity Anchor: Create a token that's a copy of target creature you control.
Hold fast or you'll lose yourself.
Star Swirl the Bearded 5UU
Legendary Creature — Unicorn Wizard (Rare)
Once during each of your turns, rather than pay the mana cost for a spell you cast, you may pay 1 life and exile a card from your hand that shares a color with that spell.
"The universe contains vast possibilities. Learn what is possible, and you will master the universe itself."
4/4
Ethereal Conservation 2GU
Enchantment (Rare)
Lands you control have hexproof.
Untapped lands you control have indestructible.
GU, Sacrifice Ethereal Conservation: All tapped lands you control phase out. (While they're phased out, they're treated as though they don't exist. They phase in before you untap during your untap step.)
Sundering Runes GU
Instant (Uncommon)
Choose one:
- Destroy target artifact or enchantment.
- Counter target artifact or enchantment spell.
Mythic Divination GGU
Enchantment (Rare)
As Mythic Divination enters the battlefield, choose Past, Present, or Future.
- Past — You may play land cards from your graveyard.
- Present — Creature spells you control can't be countered.
- Future — At the beginning of your upkeep, Scry 1.
Mythic Divination is sweeeet!
Good job getting them all out while the pun still works. Also, having a "you may play an additional land this turn" effect that isn't actually ramp is a heck of a trick (and not playing nicely with Teferi's first ult probably makes sense)
Clover should probably have both statics next to each other; otherwise he'll be in the same boat as Spark Fiend and Greater Morphling.
Opogojo has an unwritten last sentence in its triggered ability: "If that land is a Breeding Pool, laugh."
I do love the idea of the Tolarian adjunct. Makes me imagine Unseen University-level faculty shenanigans, with the Bursar downing dried Yargle pills.
The Adjunct card itself is fascinating, sort of an Icatian Javelineer for countermagic with built-in protection against flicker abuse.
With the Bearded One involved, every spell is Force of Swirl!
Here's hoping we do see more of your Clover's adventures in one form or another.
