Greetings everypony, letting you know I've gotten settled in the new place, into the new department with utterly atrocious training materials, and can write again.
Currently i still have a lot of projects going on. Still the GM of a D&D group, and can even build maps n things at work in addition to writing (because i can classify roll20 as a "game" and games are allowed but only between calls...). I have a non mlp story that is being written centered around another character of mine and my fur-sister's, getting it cleaned up as another slice of life attempt.
For the mlp stuff, training a princess is both making progress and not. To explain, i have materials being written for later on in this 7 year span, but im also working with scorch for more immediate needs so time while dawn is cocooned is covered. The reactions are something i was not able to capture accurately so im coordinating with him through some back and forth writing.
The project that will come later in training a princess is almost to a halt, mostly because I'm not confident in the direction I'm taking the story and want to make sure it keeps the minimalist writing style I'm experimenting with, but also hits certain points and avoids others. Its not easy considering how much i like adding little things and details that i worry slows down a story.
Lastly, project codename Chaos Wars is still on hold, as we have to figure out what happens in training to avoid missing characters (already there are two critical ones that will appear that weren't when we started) as well as recoordinate with all authors we wanted to involve.
So, with that, hopefully everyone who is interested understands this will be just a little more time before things are ready... oh i forgot a labor day convention im going to that also will slow things... well, id better get to writing! Yater!
