MLP villain ranking: PostCrush · 9:42pm Jul 28th, 2019

0/10 - AWFUL (unsalvageable, never should have been made, wouldn't recommend to anyone)
1/10 - HORRIBLE/BORING (tedious, hurts to watch, a bore, no reason to watch him/her, whatever positive things about him/her are tiny and not enough)
2/10 - VERY BAD (slightly less terrible, maybe there were one or two things you liked kept him/her from being a 1 but still very painful)
3/10 - BAD (the kind of bad where you're checking your watch over and over to see how much time is left before he/she gets off the screen)
4/10 - MEDIOCRE (not awful but not really that good either)
5/10 - EH (average, didn't love or hate him/her)
6/10 - DECENT (the first positive rating on this list, fine overall, glad you saw him/her once but wouldn't watch him/her again)
7/10 - GOOD (enjoyable enough that you'd maybe watch him/her again in future, had some noteworthy flaws but is overall a worthwhile villain)
8/10 - GREAT (a solid, enjoyable villain, very entertaining)
9/10 - EXCELLENT (very engaging, awesome, you definitely recommend to anyone)
10/10 - MASTERPIECE (extremely engaging, an absolute must-see)

PostCrush

I think you all know the drill by this point:

A new villain waifu for the fandom (or a pair of waifus this time) abuses Equestrian magic for a petty reason, gives a feeble apology and gets immediately forgiven regardless of their horrible actions, yadda yadda yadda. Par for the course for Equestria Girls these days.

Relieving as it is that the show staff didn’t reform or woobify the sirens, it’s also extremely disappointing that they were brought back just to be a red herring for PostCrush. If anything, I was hoping that Sunset’s theory of the Dazzlings using the Time Twirler to get revenge on them was actually true. Maybe they could’ve been using the time loop to try and steal the magical geodes and then sped away in their van once the Humane Seven defeated them.

But nope, they returned for less than five minutes so we could get stuck with a much blander pair of villains instead, coupled with the same basic lesson as Rollercoaster of Friendship (perfection is impossible).

I guess a very, very minor saving grace about K-Lo and Su-Z is that they aren’t as bratty as Juniper Montage, obnoxious as Vignette Valencia or malicious as Wallflower Blush. In fact, they’re not even out to cause harm to anyone, nor did they know anyone else was aware of the time loop until Sunset confronted them.

But even so, PostCrush are still dull and forgettable compared to the villains we could’ve gotten for Sunset’s Backstage Pass.

2/10 VERY BAD

I understand your feelings on this, though I'm willing to be a fair bit more lenient considering that they ain't Juniper, Vignette or Wallflower. *shrugs*

Oh, they're well above those three. But still, the Dazzlings were a red herring for this? A disposable pair of villains I'll forget about in less a week?

5095721
Way I choose to look at it, better that the Dazzlings remain a red herring instead of being reformed and becoming friends with everything forgiven.

I'm not knocking against your point or anything, just the way I look at it.

I don't think the Sirens should've gotten reformed if they were the villains instead. Maybe get defeated then speed off in their van before the Humane Seven can apprehend them, without magic once again.

That might have worked. I could get behind that.

*snickers* I dunno, I still find it funny that the Dazzlings now live in a trailer. At least it's not a van down by the river. :rainbowlaugh:

Could have been much worse.

Could've been better too.
