Chapter five is posted and I'm loving it as well as an announcement to make!

Hello once again, everypony! Well, as I had promised earlier at the first posting of this story, I have the latest chapter to my Silverstream&Gallus story up and in time for Bronycon! This story is proving to be a challenge to write as well as coming up with good insults to use for our favorite Hippogriff and Griffon by the pegasus ponies who don't like them being at the Wonderbolt trials. Coming up with 'good' antagonists, I think, has been the toughest part to write so far and to make them 'believable' to the reader was very important to me. Creating the motives/reasons for the ponies who dislike hippogriffs was central to the story; having ponies dislike her just because she's a hippogriff didn't really jibe with me. There had to be more to it then: 'She's different so I don't like her' just sounded dumb. It's going to get a bit more deep for both Wind Raider and Stormbringer's characters as the story progresses and how Silverstream&Gallus deal with such bent attitudes towards them.

Now, for the fun announcement! I'm feeling Pinkie Pie happy to announce that Ms. Kitty Sapphire of Kitty Sapphire Studios has come on board as my 'staff artist' to do some illustrations for this story. I have given her free reign on what scenes to do and to develop my O.C.'s appearances in any way she chooses.
Ms. Kitty has done one art sample for me as a first commissioned piece; it is posted on her Deviant Art page and I was so overwhelmed by the way she knocked it out of the ballpark with it's final rendering. She ABSOLUTLEY nailed page #68 of my first MLP story; Limestone Daphne Pie Saves Hearth's Warming. So much so that I just cried and cried and cried over it; when put to the soundtrack song I gave her for inspiration to create the picture, I just emotionally went to pieces. It was a very heavy moment for me to see a scene of a story I'd written suddenly brought to life in a drawn picture. The song in question is in the title of Chapter six; it's one of my favorites and it really captures the feeling of it.
Best of all, Ms. Kitty will be joining me for Bronycon this year as she has a booth in the vendor hall. I will be assisting her all I can for the 4 days but we have promised each other we will sit down and work on some character sketches for the O.C.'s in my second story. I encourage anypony who might have read my first story to please check out her artwork and render their opinion on how well she did my most favorite scene so far in the story. I should have chapter 6 posted after the Con as I will be working on it as well as the story for the 'write an episode challenge' group too. I am looking forward to meeting many fellow bronies and pegasisters this year and plan to stay to the closing ceremonies on Sunday the 4th.
