Meaning of "A Tender Song"

So, about last month, I posted a blog saying that there was a challenge on who could find out what the title of one of my chapters for "Messing with Your Buttons", which was "A Tender Song". And, well, no one really wanted to try my challenge, I guess. (Except for my pre-reader, TheBlueEM2. He knew what the meaning was cause I told him first.)

So, what does "A Tender Song" really mean? Well, we first gotta explore what the chapter was all about. So, spoilers!

In that chapter, Button Mash invites Sweetie Belle to a party being held at the school hall, which his brother's band was playing at. Sweetie Belle accepts the invitation and both of them were dropped of at the school. Button snuck behind stage and got ready to sing to Sweetie Belle a surprise performance from himself. And, well, at the end of the song, Button Mash proposes to Sweetie Belle to be his girlfriend!

So, you've looked at the summary of the chapter already, right? Great!

Anyways, what does it mean? Well, I actually searched up the word 'propose' on Google, and one of the words that are a synonym to 'propose' is 'tender'! And, so, I got the idea to use 'tender' in the title so it'll actually phrase out "A PROPOSAL Song"!

Also, another reason why I chose 'tender' was because one of Button Mash's nicknames happened to be "My Tender Button"! So... yeah.

Anyways, yay. That was the real meaning of it. Now, I really should go to bed. It's 2:12 AM over here as of now.
