"Ketchup" Scrapped; Working on Sequel to "A Magic Turn of Events" · 5:35am Jun 21st, 2019

I am sorry to say that the Flim and Flam timeline-set A Literary Product with a Side of Fries and Ketchup is scrapped. I realized that even with an outline, I was sticking to a finicky gimmick or two that I only realized this late into writing—coupled with my word counts bloating without limit. It will take me a long time to recast the whole thing and I don't think it would be worth it for now to go through that. I think it was also foolish on my part to go straight to a long-form story after radically changing the way I write.

Which means that the story after that is what I'm working on right now. It is a short (or at least one-chapter long) story sequel to A Magic Turn of Events, making it Magical Curiosity's sequel's sequel. Other than to give me some breathing room with my new way of writing, I also would like to explore what would happen even further down this weird timeline where Equestria Girls' Earth becomes a kind of Equestria 2.0.

The working title it has now is In Our Loving Memory. Given how I've rarely changed story titles once I've chosen them, I won't be surprised if that will be its final title.

I hope you have a good day. As God wills.

Looking forward to reading it.

Feel free to poke me for further feedback on that one.

As for me, I'll be looking for to writing it and I hope you'll enjoy it.

I'll do some Paint.net-level cover art for it and form at least the outline of the outline before I get back to you on that. I hope you don't mind me asking tons of questions because I want to flesh this out well and make it... less of a hack job for you than last time, if you know what I mean. :unsuresweetie:

....any chance this one could have a villian in it. Don't get me wrong, your story is one of my favorites...but I feel like it lacked an antagonistic force(minus the societal changes of course)

Honestly, I've already outlined the story and it has no antagonist. I feel that I'm sort of a more internal-conflict kind of guy than an external one. Still, that hasn't stopped me from throwing a random thought about some random adventure in this world with a villain using the after-effects of the Change to his advantage—but no promises on that one.
