Going to have a lot of time to write for the next week · 5:23am Jun 1st, 2019
Have most of the rest of my work week off once Saturday is fini- so that means I will have multiple days to most likely finish (or get close enough so that I would be able to finish when I'm off of work the next week) Wanted to keep this this monthly due to it being very helpful on organizing my free time around but sometimes that's difficult. To make up for that, I seem to write longer chapters.
Would have been out sooner if I didn't take a week debating on how a certain plot development changes the story with one of the relationships in a major way. Cause I've been building up to it for multiple chapters and while I didn't like exactly where the characters were going, they kind of partially write themselves when I sit down to write.
And looking at how in depth some of the conversations got in this one, I moved the Rarity talk to the next chapter in the story outright in my mental outline. I will mention it starting, but the main chunk of the scene is laid out in my head already since I planned for it this chapter, but foreseen chapter length and the act of gardening the plots all kind of turned into slightly something different- same direction, but different tonal scenes than what I originally planned out in my head five or so chapters ago.
That happens when I long plan it seems.
I like the long planning going into this. I can wait a bit longer for an update to this epic story if it means it becomes even better and each of the relationships are quite important, so a major way sounds like its worth the thought.
The complete opposite of the short story I have going on...
Then I look at the date on this and realize its taken a while for me to get to read and comment here. Did you get the progress you wanted happening? Did things get crazier in story or in real life to prevent an update?

Lol I'm almost done with the chapter in theory with only two "scenes" left with the army and the final bit of Flutterdash stuff happening. Real life slowed down the speed but I'm planning on finishing it cause I don't want one chapter to be a big epic thing. Planning for the next two chapters took a while (more like planning what might happen in the next seven since the next chapter will be a short one to get that one finished before the real important chapters happen.)
But I have lots of time so by next week this will be done.
