Time has run away from me! · 5:24am Nov 10th, 2012
With this weekend being Americas Veterans Day, I now have three months left until the end of my deployment.
2.4 years- 28.8 months- ~876.6 days- ~21,037 hours, I've been deployed. I have literally no idea what I'm going to do if I "get back", beyond submitting my resignation papers along with the rest of my unit. My coming back will make the second time I've been in the US.
To be honest I just had to smoke 3 packs of 20 to stop shaking.
So about Valentine's day? Hope nothing comes up to change those plans. I've heard the military is infamous for that.

There abouts, as Bill would say. As do I. That they are, is also a part of why I've been deployed for so long.
I shall edit blog to reflect this but my coming back will make it the second time I've been in the US.
488693 Well, technically this is only the fifth time I've been in the US. (I was born here, and left couple of times )

My first, and so far only, experience has been boot camp and the partying afterwards. Nearly everything else I've handled though calls, e-mails and the like
So, how goes the brain damage?

Beyond that, not too badly.
488753 60 brainificator sticks, eh?
488756 About sums it up, yes.
488821 On a scale of 1 to Dead, how much do you enjoy lung and/or brain damage?
I attended my schools ROTC ceremony for Veterans Day this morning. Thank you for your service, Reaper!
...when you get back? You should totally do automotive reviews. Or open up an offroading park. Eeyup.

I'd go for a 2.

спасибо
I would have entirely too much fun with that and would probably wreck a few of the fast ones
The second suggestion though... that might work . . . pinkie.mylittlefacewhen.com/media/f/thumb/mlfw990.gif

It'd be hella fun. Although, it's success would depend on how large and challenging the terrain you have it, and how populated it is in that area.
You've been deployed for 2 and a half years? Holy shit man.
488941 A offroading park would need to be:
varied and fairly expansive,
inexpensive to maintain,
retain the ability of having maintenance/tow/travel roads,
probably a on-site mechanic shop (which would need a variety of stock) and likely a fuel station,
as you pointed out, remain some-what near "civilization",
and have scenery.
Hmm..... searching shall be had...

Eeyup, tis been awhile.
488912 2 = 60?
491374
Nope, needed 60 to "start" and only wanted to have 2 for the rest of the week

Well, too bad I wont be getting that 4runner. Maybe I'll convince my parents sometime to let me go on a roadtrip out there and camp or something, maybe drag a buddy with me during the summer, although it'll be a year or two before that. And I would have to save quite a bit of cash. What part of the state do you live in, again?
