Spike's Yo-Kai Form · 4:08am May 18th, 2019
So, little spoiler alert, in this story, Spike's dad is a Yo-Kai who disguised himself as a human and settled down with Spike's mother, before being forced to go into hiding because of McKraken. Since Spike is half Yo-Kai, I'm going to give him his own Yo-Kai form, and I want some opinions on design, name, and tribe. I wanted to base his Yo-Kai form off of Beelzemon, because Beelzemon is just a plain badass. Sadly, basing it too much off Beelzemon would make it too edgy. A friend of mine suggested changing the facial shape, and replace the shotguns with ray guns like Usapyon. I plan on giving them a darker color scheme than Usapyon's, but I still want some ideas from my fans before I go and commission him. I also need some ideas for a name, and while I'm most likely going to put his Yo-Kai form in the Shady tribe, I want to know if you guys think he should go in a different tribe
If you're giving spike a monster form you got to make him a dragon. If you want a digimon you can base him off of then Beelzemon is not the best choice, after all if I remember correctly he is the Demon Lord of gluttony. In reference to the fact that he is a glutton for power and a glutton for a fight. There are tons of dragon Digimon that you can base spikes Yokai form off of. My opinion you got to go for the dracomon, one of the two Coredramon, or Examon who in my opinion is the most badass member of the royal Knights. Look them up they're all really cool looking. But if you want any more human-looking Digimon that is badass looking go for Saviourhackmon. Just look him up if you want to Cape, glistening white armor, Dragon-like form, and they lightsaber at the tip of his tail. Oh did I forget to mention if I remember correctly he is a Holy Night Digimon as well because he is.

Well, the only problem I have with a Dragon Yo-kai form is that there aren't very many Dragon Yo-Kai, the only ones I can think are Draggie, Dragon Lord, and Azure Dragon. Part of why I'm not too keen on SaviorHuckmon(Not SaviorHackmon, according to the Digimon Wiki) is because it's an Ultimate, and if I were going to base him off a Digimon, I'd rather it be a Mega level Digimon. Also, I'm not really a fan of the Dracomon family. Personally the reason I wanted to give him a form based off Beelzemon, I want to make Spike more of an anti-hero than a true hero. His goal in the story is finding his father, he doesn't really care about much more, and he is willing to go to extensive means in order to achieve his goal

Most of those Yokai are just amalgamations of other dragon from Japanese culture. Yokai Watch doesn't exactly in any of them specifically. Also there are more than just those three dragon Yokai. But okay I'll yield with Beelzemon. Just one thing are you going to use Tamers version or are you going to use Digimon Fusion's version.

I'm going to base him off of the Tamers version, and maybe once I get to the third story, I'll give him Blast Mode as his Awoken form

I still don't think there's any Yokai that would really suit being the father of a Beelzemon. Mostly because none of them have that near completely humanoid form with a tail and wings.
