Quite a random pairing, if I do say so myself. That's what I like about it. It's what I like about background pairings in general.

Why?

Because I have so much more room to create an original, interesting and adorable storyline.

This fic is not related to Roar of the Manticore (My SoarinxSpitfire fic). I love that pairing just as much.

General synopsis of the story:

Colgate and Spitfire are old friends, and Colgate seeks to see her again after years of having not even talked. Soon, their rekindled friendship takes off, but it's not exactly what either of them had expected.
