Hey, guys!
Just felt like now was a good time to remind you all that I'm not dead. The Division 2 has kinda sucked away all my free time and stuff. I live for the grind, man. Can't get enough of that MMO-esque style gameplay.
But I'm not without good news on the pony front! I've been patiently and persistently chipping away at Compati. Currently just finished my rough draft of the mid-act 2 climax. Thematically, I've written a little over half of the story.
Still gonna hold off on posting chapters, as the story very much walks a razor-thin line that I have to execute perfectly, but as this pace, it shouldn't be too long now before I'm comfortable putting a few more words out there for you all to chew on. If it's any consolation, my current unpublished word count is something like 100k, which is a nigh unfathomable number compared to what I normally get done in a year. So cheers to that!
Anyway, yea, I'm still alive and shooting videogame bad guys. The life, ya know?

I envy you. I'm currently struggling between my desire to write and the itch to play whatever I can find in my Steam Library. Truly, you have mastered the art of balance between games and fanfic. I tip my hat to you.
I'm glad to see that Compati will get an update. In truth, I'd forgotten all about this story, so this piece of news is a very pleasant surprise indeed.
