Now, don't worry everyone. The story will continue; it's just that this latest chapter has proven... frustrating. My writing became more and more frazzled, and I had to rewrite more than one time. I really don't enjoy that, and I personally find that my writing is better when it flows.
Part of the problem is, this chapter is long. Probably the longest one yet. I've been debating whether or not to split it into two chapters, but decided against it, ultimately. So, brace yourselves for a chapter that's over 10k words long, friends. It's a doosey.
Until then, I'll still be writing; I'm working on a new story for the Monster Mare Group I'm a part of; it's called Amorphous: The Tale of Arcadês the Immortal, and the Prologue will be dropping very shortly; possibly tomorrow or tonight, depending on how many users are online when my pre-readers finish.
Sorry about the delay on Legacy; it's my goal to give you all the best story I can give, and if my writing is struggling, that's a sign that I need to step back and let myself recover a bit, lest the quality of the work suffer. I don't want to leave you all hanging, so I figured that a blog post was the best thing to do. I'm sorry for the wait, but I promise; the chapter will be worth it for you fans of Ophilia, Vivian, and their journey.
I can sort of relate, except I have the opposite problem. My latest chapter (The Equestrian Sagas) is too short, and I can't figure out a good way to lengthen it. This is why you haven't seen a chapter in months. Sorry.
I'd read the first two chapters last year, but didn't even notice that you'd continued! At least I have some to read while you're on break
