2 scenes in. 1520ish words since I've kept noticing that the word count within the edit screen and the word count on the story screen are slightly off. Not by much, sure, but its sometimes more noticeable if more words are put in a chapter (for example my nearly 17k word chapter has a difference between the values of about 30, while my newest in progress chapter has a difference of 1.
Wish I would have written more, but with two of my nieces having birthdays (and one of them causing me to have a panic attack due to sensory overstimulation which tends to be a thing I have dealt with for quite a long time) I only got 1500 words in.
Will work on it more but due to me literally starting work/ most likely being trained literally in like eleven hours from now, I won't get too crazy with the word counts cause like how it took me about 6 weeks to finish my longest chapter while working- this might take a while since the first week tends to be a huge shift in routine.
But hey since I start working the week before we were going to go on vacation- guess who now isn't going on vacation.
That's right, me. Which both increases and decreases my time writing- increase since I can devote more time writing on my off time. Decrease, cause my dog's a medium floofball that is really really needy and doesn't like me moving away from her when I'm taking care of her.
But so far the chapter is going to be split with Pinkie taking up the first half, Applejack the second, and the Klugetown stuff at the end as an addendum third half or at least a portion of it.
oh. No Flutterdash yet?
Holding out on us are we?
I look forward to seeing this new chapter though as I expect things to get reeely interesting there
I'm having another 3 parter up next...

They are in the chapter briefly but for an actual meaningful scene or two it’d probably be next chapter most likely unless I have less time with Pinkie and ask than I imagined. Though if that was the case I have Twilight right behind them with a plot or two.
I like writing Flutterdash but I could see them be a good end to a chapter or get far more time nearly by themselves and rarity because The whole Moondancer arc was so Twilight heavy, a slight reprieve might be nice.
I have ideas for Flutterdash but each one is kind of long or a large part of the next chapter

I can live with a bit on the chapter ending and seeing plenty more in the upcoming one after this one.

Well I could rejigger some of the story around since the first Flutterdash scene has a nice echo with Pinkie's plot and Applejack's plot since all three revolve around family- which would most likely push the third chapter into being more Flutterdash and the rest.
Chapters 2 and 3 are sort of fluidly plotted since most of the big conversations are happening around the same time or near it. Part One took out the hard time necessary stuff.
Synergistic plot relevance by theming.
Cause the story is all about family.
And the atrocities of war.
But in effect, the story itself is based around past events and family reactions- Pinkie's whole mood in this story is influenced by her past, sApplejack is going to face her family's past at some point, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy's past are so intertwined in the latter half of the story that I came up with the mind swap for two reasons- one, I like those stories and wanted to try it out. Second, there's entire planned plot threads and scenes that already happened and will happen that would be completely different if Fluttershy or Dash confronted certain characters.
Cause there's entire chapters that won't work in my head if their predicament is fixed.
