Bird Box Crossover Dream? · 12:36pm Feb 24th, 2019
Ever heard of the horror movie Bird Box?
Never watched it myself, cause I'm not a fan of horror, but I did know the premise at least.
What's even stranger was that I dreamt a crossover of it with My Little Pony. Though only in bits and fragments. Allow me to share it with you guys and tell me what you think.
For the record, remember this was a dream I had. Common sense didn't apply here storywise. Only dream logic.
It starts with Twilight trying to escape an island with an unknown number of ponies which seemed to contain the main monsters from Birdbox.
Too escape, and keep this was a weird dream, they escape by tying two beds together and I guess using some weightlessness spell cause that was the only way I can figure an island full of ponies could escape on two beds.
Also, why didn't Twilight just mass teleport everypony away.
Seriously dreams are strange that way.
Sadly, when they are about to escape, the monsters from Bird Box stand in their way. Another strange detail I recall was that they appeared as green tendrils. Strange considering that the actual monsters of the movie Bird Box are left ambiguous. Anyways, the next scene was that an old mare stays behind to fend the beasts off, allowing the others to escape.
The next dream sequence seem to cut to days or maybe weeks later in I'm guessing Kludgetown where the ponies that escaped the island are now settling in at I believe.
The next then features Rarity in a makeshift boutique sewing stuff. She is then interrupted by Capper and his friend from the comics. I believe Capper isn't reformed yet here like in the MLP movie as they proceeded to blackmail Rarity about how she needs to pay the rent for the boutique or lose everything.
Then they left the boutique, straight after a green tendril flows through the window of the boutique. The sounds of a gunshot is later heard from inside.
Meanwhile, Capper is all by his lonesome, strolling through an empty alleyway of sorts before seeing the green tendrils with his own two eyes. In despair, Capper is about to attempt suicide right then when his friend stabs him in the back. I'm guessing the guy wanted to keep the money they would have gotten from Rarity for himself. Unfortunately, he too had seen the green tendril too and proceeded to kill himself in the most gory fashion.
The scene pans away to the night sky with the sounds of someone ripping their own heart out.
Then I woke up.
... That was some freaky stuff.
Honestly, I believe my dream was showing me the climax and epilogue of a Birdbox X MLP crossover movie. But what do you think?
