Despite everything, I have an idea for a new story · 12:00am Feb 19th, 2019
Though, whether or not it goes anywhere is up to its reception. I've already started writing things down, but when I'm ready, I'll put out the 'sketch' and see how people like it.
It'll probably end up being called 'Badass Bonbon', and it'll likely be set in an alternate universe, where Twilight was the princess of friendship before King Sombra's infiltration on the Crystal Empire. She's fallen to his dark influences and now serves as his right-hand, as a result of her incredible magical ability, amplified even more by the dark. And so Bonbon rises up to become a freedom fighter for all who are wronged by the new rulership, and maybe there will be something in there that drives her further, like Lyra's life. She'll ultimately aim to stain her weapons with Sombra's blood.
I'm already feeling pretty ambitious about this, as rewriting some of R.3.A.R. has gotten me in the mindset for writing faster-paced stuff, and some combat.
An addendum: For personal reasons, I'm actually going to write most of this, if not all of it, before I publish it. Even if it's just another work of mine that will come to be overlooked and mediocre, I need to learn some restraint.
