I'm updating the cover art for To Be a Changeling. I'm adjusting the line work and I 'm hoping to have it finished tomorrow night. Then I'll color it in and add the background. Once that's done I'll start posting updates to the story again.

So Pupa was a girl all along? Did I miss something that stated the MC was a girl cause I thought she was a male this whole time.

Aw man I was hoping the main character would be a guy. I'm still not a fan of Pupa either. Still though looking forward to the next chapter.

On a slightly more serious note, I'm looking forward to Pupa waking up. And for whatever reason now want her best friend to be named "Spiracle".

Right, so "Pupa" was a dude in "its" previous life. As a grub they appear to be sexless. Based on the fact that "Pupa" remembers mostly subconsciously of its past life, it probably just assumed it was male.

Right but now it looks like his changeling form is going to be female. Kinda bugs me when this keeps happening.

Can't have a Changeling Princess/Queen if its a dude. I guess he/she could be a reverse drag Queen. Plus it adds to the strangeness. For the character mind you. A character that is gender-bent that only subconsciously registers it is going to find everything just strange.

A newly hatched changeling feels like the world around is more strange than it should be but can't understand why.

Why can’t there ever be a changeling prince/king? Genderbending changelings aren’t new here. If Pupa remembers its previous gender it adds to the weirdness but since she can’t remember it won’t effect too much when she remembers.
